Then you will have to redo the plans a bit, to fit the diferent gear box and motor. Is it a vertical or horizontal motor?

Use a m60 box mag base, or a m249, and cover it in the .50 case.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that the AGM Mp40s have V7s in them.

The reason it has to be an M14 or an M249 is because the gearbox chassis is linked to the hopup/barrel, and its also horizontal motor (this is maybe only applicable to the 30 cals, receiver not tall enough). but the important part is its all one piece. I just got a used AGM M14 for $50 and replaced all the internals for "high torque" Chinese stuff about another $50.

As for feeding, killbucket devised an ingenious system of using a slightly modified servo (the kind you may find in an R/C car) and a high cap with a winding key hole. this apparatus is contained inside a plastic box which is in turn hidden inside the ammo can of an appropriate type, covered in bbs to feed.

Moving it around in a cradle mount makes it feel like it's gonna break. Also, a M2 that you can hold with one hand is just plane silly. I'd say use those template, but make it out of steel. It'd cost more but it'd be worth it in the end.
