Seems I got back here too late. I bought some black plastic pipe from Home Depot in the sprinkler section, cut it into 1 inch pieces and JB welded them onto the tops of the tennis balls.

mine sucks, but it works. I tried to spray paint it but failed and now it's sticky and smelly. I think we have some left over pvc. Did you actually weld the plastic to the tennis ball?

JB Weld is like extreme sticky stuff. It's just an extreme adhesive not a welding thingie lol

My sticky stuff knowledge is limited. I can get that stuff anywhere right? Like it can be from the tool part of fred meyer or something right? I thought when he said "JB Welded" he meant he had a guy named JB, weld it.

:banghead:

How the hell would you weld some thing plastic to something rubber?

If you have hot glue that will work as well as JB Weld, I think.

As to a sticky, smelly mess--is it dry after 5-6 hours? Spray paint doesn't dry instantly.

I'm conflicted between painting them a darker green, and not being able to find them/enemy not being able to see them.

IDK, that requires a drill. Make sure you have your parents there to help you!

Yes I got the pins at Home Depot. Theyre kind pricey though, like 4 or 5 bucks a pop. Thats why theyre attached to my gear rather than in a grenade pouch, losing one would suck.

What kind of paint would you use on a tennis ball!? Metal spray paint or plastic?
