Long story, my first gun was a utg m324 and it broke. Instead of buying an aeg like others, I decided to build my own gun. Therefore I don't have any screws. I live in southern California not Oregon, so should home depot have the screws I'm looking for? And are you sure they will work fine in my body? I'm kinda scared they might damage my body...

This thread is ridiculous.

Almost all screw threads have long been standardized. All you need to do is find out if it is metric or SAE thread and it'll be a cinch. My guess would be metric, as most things made internationally are. Also, gearbox screws probably will work because they are standardized as well, assuming they are not too wide or skinny. The way to find out is to simply try it. If you need to force the screw to get it in, chances are its the wrong size, so stop.

Go to ACE, True-Value, or whatever you Californians have down there. My guess is that it will cost you less than 30 cents per screw, probably closer to 15 cents. Stores like Home Depot or Lowes will probably have what you want, but they sell small screws by the package, and there's no way to practice with one before you buy.
