I tested it fiddling around with it at my apartment, your results may vary depending on stuff out of my control.
TOOLS
wire cutters or similar
silver sharpie or something that will show up on black plastic
ruler/measuring tape
Philips screw driver
First thing you need to do is take your measuring device and mark (measuring from the top of the mount) 1 1/4" down. After you've made your mark, double check your measurements and then cut on that line.
Do the same for both sides so it ends up looking like this.
Next separate the two parts of the belt loops and slide the top part behind the MOLLE webbing.
It should sit like this before you tighten the belt loop screws.
After doing that, push down on the platform while pushing up on the screws so it will cover up the cuts you made (and reinforce it).
It should look like this after you've tightened the screws.
Repeat on the other side and BAM! You got a SERPA on your MOLLE gears!
