Inspiration for g36

Postby badco » Mon Mar 22, 2010 2:27 pm

Hey guys, I just got a g36c, and i wanna deck it out.
I'm getting bored of the external upgrades for m4/m16 series, so i decided to try out g 36.

What should I do to make this gun look seriously sick?

Feel free to post links to products or explain mods i can make.

Also post pictures of your own custom g36's.

The same stuff you'd put on an M4 or M16

You can get M4 to G36 stock adapters now, as well as M4 - G36 magwell adapters.

Further to that, one idea if you're looking to get an AG36, but know you'll probably never use it, is to use the tube to carry a large battery. Cap it with a wood plug or something as far down the barrel as you can get it. How you actually wire it, someone else can tell you. But its a lot easier that trying to cram it in the handguard, or getting a "sniper" stock.

Here is another AG36. Just to give you choices.
I mean it is much cheaper if you want to use it just as a battery compartment
It is 210 shipped.

Meh.
You might as well strap an 8 lb weight to the front of your g36. The AG36 launcher is heavy, and doesn't make much sense to spend $200 on unless you like sending out clouds of bbs at anyone. (if you do, get some proarms grenades, plastic but amazing)

Besides the KV stock is made for a battery. You could get the G&P KV stock and the 9.6v battery to go with it for ~$100 at redwolf. Pretty good deal.

yeah, i dont really want a nade launcher, for no reasons other than it being pointless and heavy and dumb looking.

what optic would you recommend for a g36?

That’s really personal opinion. I love my simple reflex sight, others can't live without some sort of optical zoom. Just get what you like.

I have an ACOG on my G36c, I like it, I might eventually get an EOTech for it, though. 551 version, because a long-ass 552 on that short-ass rail does NOT look good.
