Aiming with a mask?

Postby Goliath17 » Mon Sep 03, 2012 4:10 pm

I have been looking for a lower half mask that alows easy aiming down your sights. Have tried a few and non have worked. I have bought several that claim that they allow easy aiming, but they end up not working. I just want to know If any of you have a lower mask that works for aiming down m4 sights and occasionally a holographic sight. Thanks
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.

Buy a riser.

You'll never be able to have a perfect cheek weld against a lower facemask and your rifle stock, unless you push your face into your rifle.

I use this regularly at CQC with no problems aiming. I've used it with a P90 with a T1 on a low mount, UMP with irons, MP7 with a 553 on it, M4 with an Aimpoint on it and a AK74U with irons.

I did add a bit of pile velcro to the nose area as the mesh squished it.

I use the same mask Jewish Ninja linked and some extra tall scope rings for my red dot.
