Goggle De-fogging?

What do you guys use to clean your goggles, and to make sure they don't fog?? I've had so much trouble with my lens fogging recently, I accidently dropped them in sand and they got terribly scratched up, but even before this my apparent "anti-fog" goggles were still badly capable of fogging.

I use Fog Tech that I purchased at AONW, that stuff does wonders. My flakjacks will still fog a little without the FogTech once I really start sweating, though with the FogTech it won't fog at all. Even if I'm purposely trying to fog it up it won't happen. Plus one bottle goes a really long way as one application lasts 5 days and you don't use much at all for that application.

it is only a matter of time for goggles to fog up given enough moisture, anti fog only delays the time it takes for condensation to form. the fog tech stuff is the best stuff i've come across so far but on a rainy day goggles will still fog up like crazy. learn to breath downward and if you want you can install computer fans where the vent holes are or go to mesh goggles(if the field allows it)

I use the Asian Locust by Revision (with fan). They are pretty good on their own but will fog. I found the moondog defog spray + the fan is perfect!

My local fields do in fact allow mesh.... How trust-able is mesh? I'd lean towards the pinhole style isntead of wire mesh, if it makes a difference.

the punctured steel ones BWTA and AONW sells have been shot pointblank with a 550fps with no damage. and as for the mesh weave ones that come with bravo masks will dent being shot point blank with something like 400fps the structure integrity still holds. if you can come out to an OP game in the event forums you'll see quiet a lot of people wearing mesh

Thanks, I think it's time for me to switch to mesh. I was in an intense night game a couple days ago and called myself out because I couldn't see a thing and twisted my ankle when I went to step down what appeared to be a 1 foot drop and was actually a 3 foot drop...., sometimes I hate having to wear goggles because of the fog.

Not to mention the fact that mesh goggles don't scratch that a B***ch when dropped in sand.

Understandable, but neither are night games and severe fogging, or tinted lens. I don't care for night games anyway, personally. :P

Back on topic--go to a dive store and spend $6 on a bottle of SeaDrops. Read the instructions, actually only use a drop or two, buff it out. Very good anti-fog. I've been using it for 10 years.

I dont think I'm going to try it, but what about spreading an oil-based something on the inside of your goggles....???
Like maybe some vegetable oil or butter on a napkin? Besides some worries about acne and an odd smell with that idea, wouldn't the idea work really well???

Actually...no I will try it Thursday. I jsut bought some mesh goggles anyway, it's worth a try.

from what ive heard, the diving stuff works good.

But honestly, ive never had a problem with any of the goggles ive owned fogging, Now i wear shooting glasses, but i used to wear dirtbike goggles with no problem at all.
