Help on US Navy SEAL loadout.

Postby Hawk_Eye » Sat Dec 24, 2011 1:56 pm

So I'm obviously planning on a SEAL loadout I have a Pantac MBSS and Eagle Plate Carrier, and I absolutely love them. But I don't want to stop there, I am very happy with Pantac I trust there gear in every way but with that being said I don't know whether I should get a Pantac Maritime-CIRAS or a Pantac RRV. I love to get down and dirty in my gear, I have no problem with it. My MBSS and EPC have all with stood it and are still in great condition and I want to know if I can expect the same result in the Mari-CIRAS and RRV. I want to know addvantages disadvantages etc. So I would really enjoy the help. Thanks guys. Much obliged.

Why do you want something to replace something else that will work better for the impression and is more comfortable that a CIRAS?

Stick with the EPC and MBSS, but if you absolutely have to get a new rig, get the RRV, even if it will only work for older SEAL impressions (same with the CIRAS, though).

+1 to what Snowman stated.

However, if you still want something on top of what you already have... some SEAL's did have RRV's and other carriers and chest rigs in AOR1 and AOR2 camo not too long ago.

You thought wrong. I've seen a few AOR RRVs, never an AOR2 one though.

It's not to necessarily "replace" it. I just like having more gear for back ups, and I just like having the extra gear. Thanks for the help Snowman, I've heard some things about you (good things) and I've seen some of your kits on facebook so you seem to know what good. I'll take your word for it. My EPC is CB.
Hope for the best but expect the worst.

Yeah, a couple AOR1 RRVs went on Ebay for $200-400 apiece.

Since the EPC is CB, ya might be better off going for a Navy EOD inspiration. EOD was issued CB kitbags, although the primary plate carrier was the LBT 6094 in CB.

You could also go for a MARSOC impression, now that CB MBAVs are being used more and more. Not SEALs, but still Navy related. ;)

Then my EPC must be khaki because the SEALs EPC in the picture was the exact same color as mine, an I just compare compared it to my khaki OTV and his a really good resemblence.

If it was a real OTV, odds are it was CB. Was it a Condor/OETech OTV?
