Tactical Gear Retailers??

Postby ScaredShooter » Tue Sep 20, 2011 6:24 pm

Ok, so I feel like a bit of a tactical n00b. I basically am. All my gear is Condor and has been for quite some time, so I'm looking to change that.

I'm considering forking out the cash for a full replica milsim kit.

My question, to all gear-hoes, is what are preferred online retailers? I really don't know where to start, and for once I can't find all my stuff at AONW.
Laugh laugh. I absolutely love supporting them but an airsoft shop can only have so much stuff.

So let’s say I wanted to look like the below man (scroll right, big pic) for $600 or so, maybe $800 using Pantac or Flyye gear.
Where would a person buy such things?

-ACH TC2000
-USGI Rhino Mount
-Norotos Standard Arm
-PVS14
-Bunny ears, taped down for parajumpin'
-velcro and IR stuffs
-Oakley M-Frames
-MSA Sordins

-RLCS RRV w/ back plate
-MSAP cummerbund
-RLCS PACA
-RLCS MAP
-RLCS Flashbang Pouch
-RLCS 200-round SAW Pouch x2 (probably 3)
-RLCS 100-round Nutsack Pouch
-RLCS Medic Pouch
-RLCS MBITR Pouch (with MBITR, those Sorfdins hafta be hooked up to something)
-MSAP Side Plates in Cummerbund pockets

Btw are there any RRVs for skinny people? I will probably wear soft armor underneath, but I hear that option is sweaty as hell.

tl;dr post sites of places where I can find decent gear

There may be another thread that explains things like this, please direct me there if necessary.

Thanks tons. You guys are awesome.

RRVs are one size for all. You can adjust them to fit snugly though, or so I hear.

A note on ebay. Do your homework on what you order through them. Not all sellers are honest and not all gear is as advertised. Also check AP's classifieds. Good gear passes through there too.

Real deal gear is generally better made and has a higher level of QC than china man due to DOD QC regulations. Trade off is cost (sometimes).

Other online retailer is http://www.gearzoneproducts.com/

I have an RRV in RG for sale ;) You can adjust the RRV quite a lot, but you'll probably find it fits better with soft armor on as well. I wear mine without mainly to keep a lower profile.

I also have a RG DBT SAW pouch for 100rd nutsack mags. Not RLCS, but looks similar.

Personally, I'd snoop around for deals on used RG stuff, but getting a good price on RLCS kit is pretty much impossible as azns pay out the nose for that stuff.
