Clothing -
Hats/headwear -

The pakol, very cool and common hat for Afghan wear.

Turban - 15 feet of 100% cotton will work for this, video at the bottom on how to wrap a turban.

SKi mask - Mostly common in Iraq, but can be found on fighters that are from chechyen.
Dress wear -
The "dress" or Perahan Tunban - http://www.afghanistan-culture.com/perahan-tunban.html

A vest, can go on top of the dress.

This is the most common, if you are wearing a camo top, the blouse goes over the dress. *note, when wearing an chest rig(more on that later), the chest rig is placed under the blouse or vest (commonly)
Footwear-
Sandals, early russian combat boots, and american jungle and combat boots are most common.
Also sneaker's are common as well.
Sandals -
And for boots, you have your basic combat boots from VN, and
Load bearing and Chest rigs.
The chicom is very common:

The russian style was aslso common during the afghan russian war, but are hard to find now.

Pistol belts, and H harness set ups were very common too, and the Afghan's loved them.

Other pouches and ways to carry your AK mags or other shit.

I have these, and they are very nice for what they do, i use them on my main rig.

Be creative, drop the molle and OE tech AK chest rigs.
Some of this stuff you can find for a 1$!!! ( i got my Russian single cell mag pouch's for 1$ online).
Packing out for Infidel killing for a few days?
Old era Tent

A sleeping bag

They took anything they had to sleep with, so wool blankets will work too.
Food -
I Think just packing anything is fine, but bread, water, and the like will work.
Keep all of this as ghetto looking as you can. Spoons, forks, etc.
Enjoy, let me know if there is anything i should add, post pictures, tell storys, etc.
