Just keep in mind, mesh isn't ansi z87.1 rated or fragment proof. Use it at your own risk.

Test your mesh glasses at close range with multiple shots.

The potentiality for certain BBs to fragment on impact does exist. Having played airsoft for five years, I've had direct shots to my glasses maybe a dozen times. Of those dozen, I can't think of a single one that was close enough for the BB to have sufficient velocity to fragment. It's a risk I find acceptable given the obvious benefits of mesh.
