BIO bbs

Postby Keeper » Thu May 07, 2009 10:56 am

This seemed like the spot for this.

Recently we have been discussing moving to all BIo bbs for our OPs here in Northeast Pa. Our Field is already using all BIO and we are trying to move other Fields to do the same as well. (Think Green :D )

We are suggesting that people go to G&G BIO bbs, both for .20 and .25 that we use. I have seen all kind of comments concerning what BIO bbs are the best. Airsoft Elite and Madbull are two mentioned so far. I use the G&G brand which I have put 1000's of rds through my M249 and various Custom M14's and I have seen nothing but GOOD reviews on them.

I am looking for some input from other people. I would like to hear some good arguements for one brand or another and what you use personally.

The Bio-Shot BB's seem like they are very good. I haven't had a problem with them at all.

I have been hearing that tight bore barrels or high ROF guns jam on BIO all the time. I have not seen this. My two 370 fps gun has worked flawless with BIO bbs.

The bio-shot bb's are precise as hell. I'll get some groupings in the near future.

I've used Bio-shot, Airsplat Bios and G&G Bios and seeing how I am a li-poly fan and a tight bore fan I do say they all seem to work fine. I have no complaints about the airplat bbs.

Bio???
Dude , Where did these BB's come from?? EARTH?? Thats where I left them.
No really in 250,000 years you'll never know I was here . This is not ment to sound like 'm pissing on your rope , But I really don't think that a BB leaves as big an impact on the earth as it does for everyone driving up to play . If your really GREEN, ride your bike to the next opp. or skirm .
Thats my 2 cents worth .
We all do what we can, but remember in a free country , Ya gotta put up with other people's freedom. " is that too deep??" I guess I'm bored or somthing.

Some fields require Bio BBs because the State government does. For example: The Evergreen airsoft field is Sultan, WA, requires Bio BBs because it is on state land. The WA DNR shut them down unless they used Bios.

If a game requires Bios, and you don't want to fork out the money for Bios, then don't go to the game. Simple as that.

Yea but thats not what I read in the first post . Sounded like he was permoting Bio in all fields . And what extra money?? All BB's cost around the same , The right to choose is what I mean . I'm not saying nothin about the fields preference , You gotta follow they'r rules or like you said don't go . But saying to go green and then burn all that gas to get there is kinda silly.

Bio bbs are noticeably more expensive than regular ones, X. It's about $5-10 more per bag, and they are arguably less accurate, too.

And all this time I've thought I was the only person to see bio bbs as unnecessary....

By the time bio bbs degrade, they are already covered with dirt thus defeating the purpose of biodegrading. Also that brings up another point, has anyone tested these so called "bio bbs?" I mean for all we know the manufacturers could be just saying they are biodegradeble because they added a "biodegradeble substance".

Well when I buy Bio I haven't really noticed the price difference. Maybe I eather pay too much for regular BB's or I'm getting a better deal on Bio's .
But in Airsoft I guess a few more or less bucks really don't matter anyways. I just wanna shoot someone :D :D .

Yea but like said above how do we really know that they are Bio? and how long to degrade, and what is conciderd degrade ? and what kind of other bad things do they put in Bio BB's ? Like do they have trans fatty acids? Or do they cause anial leakage? Be for we all get Republican here we should not forget that the real truth is not out there yet.
