I'm not familiar with their gear. I'd suggest youtubing the shit out of them to see how it looks on camera and "in person" before you buy it.

Best bet would be a local store where you can 1) try it on and see what you like and 2) see the color. Also 3) Support American and local business.

Yes, we are actually. A lot of people here are more concerned about looking cool than being functional.

A buddy or two of mine and I have done this.
I mix and match on PURPOSE! Functionality, so it does what I want it to do.

Meanwhile, some of us - from what I have read - are realizing that the fields we are playing in won't change because <we're in ACU, BDU, Multicam, ATACS or naked.> [wat]

Multicam= most functional "light" camo in Washingtons forests. OD= green accessory. You put one over the other, you have functionality and something rather nice.

Wanna stay alike and uniform? Get matching patches and service tapes. Don't worry about the vest style and color.

That last statement doesn't really make sense to me, as a lot of games up here in WA are based on uniform shades.

Tan/Brown vs. Green/Dark makes a lot of sense to me and I'm hoping Oregon moves towards it. After we get covered in mud, all the green based camouflages look the same.

But he's wearing Multicam, so he won't get dirty.

Well now we're planning a team trip to the local army surplus store. I can only imagine standing there for hours arguing over which color gear to buy...
We would like to have matching uniforms as well as name tapes and patches. currently, we look like a group of ragtag guys wearing black vests and it looks pretty terrible, not to mention we can be seen a mile away outdoors in black. We would like to see together in unifrom as a team, but also NOT be seen on the battlefield, if u catch my drift

ok...
If he wants his team to look like a team (the way the US Army does it sometimes), he should make sure that when his TEAM wears the UNIFORM they look UNIFORM, before they put on their individually acquired vests.
he wants his group to look like a team. it was mentioned in the very first post.
