Repairing MOLLE

Postby Dr. Starch » Mon Feb 14, 2011 11:07 am

I've been putting this off for a while.
One of the MOLLE straps on one of my magazine pouches has broken. The male end of the stap came off with the female.

I was thinking of using super glue. Currently I just weave the MOLLE through and pull it down.
But I'd just like expert opinion before I do anything.

Well, I didn't mean you had to walk it there. There are these really new fanlged types of business that call what they do, shipping. Sure, it costs a bit more, but it takes what you have, and they deliver it to another party. I know, cool huh?! :)

As I said in that post, it was just a thought. That means it wasn't your only option, but an idea for you. Take it for what you will.

Joann's fabrics sells the snaps and the hand press tool to apply them, it'll cost you about $20 for everything you'd need to put on a new snap.

Thanks. I will try that. (No idea why I hadn't thought of that before). My mom might actually have the tool to do that. I know shes used something for putting grommets in fabric.
