what's the difference between these two rsa's?

I was looking around on airsoftgi and saw that they carry two different rsa's.
One by magpul pts for $35 and one by magpul usa for $30. Is there an real difference between these? Wouldn't it make more sense to buy the one from magpul usa since it's the real thing and is cheaper?

Get the Magpul USA because it's real and it is cheaper. PTS (airsoft replica) items sometimes are made with cheaper materials and higher tolerances so they are generally not as good. Real Magpul (even though the magpul PTS stuff is also made from magpul) stuff is made for Real guns so the quality has to be higher. So in the end, if it can go on your gun, it is generally a good idea to go with the real version because they are typically higher quality. In this case, it's a no brainer to go with the real version because it's cheaper, even though the PTS product might be exactly the same. If it's good enough for real guns, it's good enough for an airsoft gun.

You make it sound like it HAS to be better. Do you or do you not know what is better? Reviews? Do you own or have owned both?

Go with the cheaper one; it will hold 300lbs, and if it breaks then you get a new one. I bought the PTS one for my friend's M4 and it is a good, solid anchor.

The only difference between the two, as far as I can tell from handling both of them personally, is that the PTS one can be sold outside the US. While I can't actually test the steel material, they do seem to be the same.

Keep in mind: real companies sell the RSA, and AirsoftGI has to compete against them. Only airsoft companies sell the PTS RSA, so they can mark it higher because there's less competition.
