holster question

Postby Mongrol » Mon Dec 06, 2010 5:57 pm

Im getting the one of KWA's mark II pistols and have a question about the holsters. Iv gone through 4 different holsters with my m9 and every one of them other than the serpa has caused the mag to fall out since its a soft holster and is pressing the mag release when i move. 1911's have the same design where you press the button to release a mag. My question:
Does anybody know of any holsters that aren't specifically designed for one gun (serpas) that will still allow me to move without fear of my mag falling out?
I dont really care if its a thigh holster belt or molle holster.

Thanks

I've been running my Mark II in a leg drop serpa for a while now and I personally will never use a different kind of holster again. I've seen a lot of different holsters from here and there but none of them ever could give me a 100% good feeling that my mag wouldn't fall out. I would say bite the bullet and get the serpa, unless you have another reason for wanting something universal.

You're not going to find any holster that won't accidentally press the mag release unless it's specifically made for the model of gun you hvae.

does that mean that a molle holster designed for a 1911 should work?

they mightkwork. but it's still soft, it could drop the mag. i think there may be a hardshell holster on evike that could keep the mag release from getting hit.
forgive my ignorance, it happens to everyone.
