Boots sizing

Postby malik » Mon Nov 15, 2010 5:33 pm

Hi, again. I am looking at buying these as they are fairly cheap. I know that for an actual service person they may be unsuitable, but for me, I just need them to look and be the part. My question is, if I wear a size 8 SHOE comfortably, will one of these

fit me as a size 8? Or are combat boots something you want to buy slightly bigger or smaller?

Any input would be great.

Boots will be bigger. I wear a size 11 in Canvas (so like Converse or whatever) shoes and a size 10 in boots.

There is no standard. Different manufacturers tend to vary slightly, check with the seller. As a general rule you want boots a little bigger to allow for multiple socks. It depends on when / where you plan on wearing them. If you dont know the maker , better try on a pair locally to be sure, its a pain to send stuff back bought on line. As an example Nike tends to run a little small. Know before you buy
