Sorry for the late reply. The suppressor / bayonet lug interface issue is extremely common with G&G rifles. The easy fix is to pick up an AR-15 Crush Washer and install it between the suppressor and the barrel to get enough of a gap. I think I picked up a 5-pack for $7 on amazon with shipping.
