Local place to have a KSC MK23 put back together?

Postby yandle » Sat Apr 30, 2011 2:03 pm

I'll hopefully be back in Oregon in a few weeks, and want to finally have my KSC MK23 in working order again. Is there anyone local that works on GBBs? Especially something this complicated to put back together.

Airsoft Outlet NW in Cornelius is a wonderful place if it’s convenient for you to get by. I don’t know the extent of your gun’s problem(s) or what replacement parts will be needed, but their gun tech is a wizard as many people will tell you.

If they can’t fix it, I’d just buy the KWA MK23s when they’re released! The blowback may not be as slow and powerful, but it should have a lighter cycling, snappier action, and overall better gas efficiency.

I only point this out because repairing GBB pistols can sometimes get near impossible or very expensive. Again, depends on what’s wrong and the availability of replacement parts.

AONW is not local.
She said I raped her? Well, where there is a Will there is a way. But just remember, if it wasn't Lil, it wasn't Wil.

?? According to Google, it's 52 min from West Linn. I go there all the time and it's at least an hour from my place.

Sorry, I don't understand.

Sorry, I hear local and I think within 20-30 minutes. An hour drive or more is kind of a trip.

Fair enough. I just thought it's a place full of competent people, and maybe someone who wanted their gun repaired would be willing to make the trip.

Sorry, I don't know any places close enough.

Really? You need to, in this and many other areas, gain some perspective.

It takes me 30 minutes just to get to the nearest gas station. An hour isn't far, really. Cornelius is local to Portland.

When it comes to airsoft stores and repair techs, anything in oregon is local. It's an hour 45 for me to get to aonw and I've been many times.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty

I was in no way referring to the ability of their techs. I just consider local to be a hell of a lot closer than most people here. I have to hire a driver if its more than 30 minutes, so that is my meter for it.

I have heard nothing but good things about AONw, and they are probably your closest bet for legit work.

I am not sure if Seagreen does repairs, but I have a gun he worked on/upgraded and it has worked flawlessly for years. I think he is in portland, which is about the same distance.

It's just taken apart, nothing is broken, they happen to be a phony pony to put back together and I have no interest in doing so. I guess I will run it out to AONW when I get back from FT Sill. Thanks guys.
