PROG4 Western Arms HI-CAPA LIMCAT? $1900 PISTOL??

Postby God » Wed Apr 20, 2011 6:25 pm

Hi, I have someone offering a WA(not a WE) HICAPA limcat. I can't find a WA version. Are LIMCATs any good? He's offering... "WA hicapa limcat custom. with 4 mags upgraded recoil spring and a small pistol gun bag" for my G&P M4. I can't find any price/resale references. Help? =)

Edit, apparently he's claiming the pistol consists of these two main parts.

firstly, those links don't work.

secondly, don't bother with custom pistols. ever think about why hes offering you a supposedly $2k pistol for your $400 AEG? there is next to no resale market for them, and even the super nice expensive pistols aren't competitive against a $200 AEG in the field. he probably bought it thinking "more expensive = more better" and then got raped up and down the field at the first game he brought it to by a fifteen year old with a $100 JG.

those high end IPSC style pistols are certainly out there though, they are more popular in the japanese market where they usually cant get real guns.

Okay. I'm just confused to why they even make them. lol. I'm pretty sure I'm not going with it, but it's kinda cool looking. But I have no use for it.

they make them because owning a real gun in japan is illegal for most people, and they still have people who want to shoot in competitions.

They make them because they know some sucker will pay $1900 for an airsoft gun.

In addition to this, when the Japanese get over here they go bonkers at gun ranges with rentals of guns. They seem to love to shoot .44s.....too much Dirty Harry me thinks. Its kind of cool to watch them. Its makes you appreciate what we have here in the 2nd amendment......

They are also used by people who shoot real IPSC and USPSA, but live in the berbs so shooting a lot with RS isn't a viable training method. Also these people don't have a problem buying a super expensive gun, on account their real guns can cost much more then this gun.
