what pistol should I get?

I would like to get a co2 gbb desert eagle or a 1911 pistol for around $145 but what brand and version should I get?

Don't get a CO2 GBB. There are enough quality GBB's in your price range that use green gas. I would recommend getting one of the KWA NS2's. Whatever model tickles your fancy will due.

If you want a good deeg, you need to get a Mauri. The rest are crap, junk and shit.

If your talking about a normal 1911, look into the Tercel. Its a clone of the Mauri all the way down to the trades! I've heard good things about them, especially for the price. Plus if shit does go bad, there are over 9000 aftermarket parts available TO BE OVERNIGHTED FROM JAPAN LOL.

However, if you have no taste and want a Hicapa, no one can help you.

I have a WE High-Capa w/ 2 mags if you want it for cheap. Don't waste money on a CO2 GBB that you won't be able to use for what a pistol is supposed to be used for; a transition weapon for indoors or a backup in case of a primary failure.

Get an KWA MK "#". A bit out of your price range, but will work great.

Yeah, missed that DE part. I tend to knee jerk when I read "Mauri is the best." I've had Marui's, and the guns were not as spectacular as I keep reading they are. I'll take a NS2 KWA over a Marui any day.
