Possible way to "extend the barrel" of a KWA 1911 Mark IV

I love my KWA 1911 Mark IV and i have always found a pistol to look more awesome with a silencer (more james bond) look.

Would i be able to use this http://www.eliteshootingcentre.co.uk/Ga ... 0Touch.htm or some other way to add a silncer to my gun?

and would i even want to do this or is it a bad idea?

if the barrel has threads on the inside, that might work. i don't remember if they do though. i know ASO sells replacement barrels, but they aren't threaded if i recall. at least you can fix it if you end up doing something bad.

Church, KWA specifically didn't thread the barrel for the same reason they made them plastic instead of metal; weight. The barrel is balanced to work with the hopup unit. If you notice you can buy a metal barrel from KWA but it completely voids the warranty. Same thing with a suppressor, adds too much weight to the front of the barrel.

thank you very much for this info. this makes me feel better about not having the ability to place a silencer or suppressor on the end of the pistol.

I'm going to buy this replica, If I could purchase a different outer barrel (preferably with threads for a "suppressor/silencer") that would be great, so I guess I second on this question.
