What pistol whould I get?

Postby Hutch » Sat Mar 12, 2011 4:45 pm

I decided to stop repairing my kp45 and just buy a new pistol. I want one with a rail under the barrel, or rail converter, but which specific one should I buy? ps, I seriously prefer doing buisness with Airsoftoutlet, and I'm trying to keep the price for the gun plus a spare mag all under $200.

The KWA mark series 1911's are pretty solid, and the Mark II comes with a railed frame.

A KEWL 1.

But in reality, a TM or a KWA.

I'm looking at the kwa 1911 mk IV (4) and I'm liking what I see, any reason I shouldn't get it over any other pistols?

Perhaps a knock off SERPA. The blackhawk one works fine on the MK 2 and 4.

the only thing comparable to the sexiness and awesomeness of a mark series KWA...is another KWA (m9ptp)

@patrick750
I have researched the KWA M9 PTP and found that some the the low quality internals lead to the gun not lasting as long, the internals in the m1911 mark series contain quality pieces replacing the m9's plastic internals with dense metal internals, leading me to its persuasion.
I am almost sure I want an m1911 mark series, but I'm stuck between the mk2 and mk4.

KWA MK IV. I own three and they perform better and more reliably than any of the WA or TM builds I have ever spent way too much time and money on.

Get it. Or the KJW M9. one of the two. /thread.

I was debating between both of those myself. I went with the mkIV because of it having a guide rod which makes it much harder for the spring to fall out of the front as Jesse at AONW informed my can be a problem with the mkII. Downside is on the mkIV the front sight has no dot so if that matters you will have to add one manually.
