Grip laser for the Sig p229

First off, I know this is a long shot. I also know that after many hours of looking on google all websites I've decided to just ask.

I'm looking to get this

^ Sliver back grip laser for the p226.

Now the thing is, I might be getting a p229 instead.

Question - Will it still fit the p229.

IIRC, the 226 and 229 have the same grip sizes, they just have different barrel lengths, so you should be fine using that.
