kwa still makes glocks?

Postby Simmons » Fri Jan 14, 2011 8:30 pm

www.kwauk.co.uk

this website is the same as kwausa.com correct? except the link above is in the UK obviously.. well under the pistols listed on the left hand side of the website there is the km17, km18c, km23c, km23f...

and if you scroll down to the ptp section... they have the km19 ptp listed..

is it just me or does anyone else wanna buy a ptp glock made by kwa that uses the ns2 system and all the other features they bestow in there pistols...

The United States likes to honor trademarks, therefore those pistols (the Glock series) cannot be imported into the US.

KSC=KWA outside of USA, mostly Asia, with trades and trigger safety lever

I realize that, but why don't KWAs come with trigger safeties?

I think you are going to have to address that with the manufacturer. My guess would be so that it is not an exact copy of the gun in an attempt to ward off trademark infringement attorney$. Glock and HK are fiercely going after anyone who does so. Umarex paid HK $$$$ fot the right to use the trademarked name. That is why you see the trade on their stuff. you will note KWAs MP7 in in caahoots with umarex in order to have that little mark on the KWA gun.......follow the $$$$$$

1st. KWA and KSC are two separate companies. TO keep it simple, KWA is the OEM for many KSC designed pistols in the past. However, that role is changing. We are now also the ODM for KSC.

As for Glock replica, we are not making it. But if you have been following Shot Show 2011, the new ATP (Adaptive Training Pistol) have many similarities with a Glock pistol.
