KSC G18c Can't select full auto??

I've been testing my recently received G18c, for whatever reason, I can't select automatic, only when the slide is pulled back. Also, the selector sometimes get pushed out if set halfway between semi and safe. Help please? I really want to get this thing working...

You shouldn't try to change the selector switch from anything, to anything else unless the slide is pulled back. The selector switch is very finicky on the KWA/KSC Glock 18Cs anyways, and if you try changing it too much while the slide isn't pulled back, you're very likely to break things. If you pull the slide off, you can flip the switch around, and watch the little piece that moves into different positions as you flip the switch around. That's what controls if it's on safe, auto, or semi, and that's what's going to be causing problems if you try changing it too much, without the slide pulled back. I believe in the booklet that should have been provided with the gun, it gives an explanation of what should, and should not be done with that. If you didn't get the booklet, or lost it/threw it away, I can tell you what it says in the one I have. I assume though, that someone else with greater knowledge than me might come along to tell you more about this, and so there probably won't be much need for the booklet.

OH! Thanks, I was doing it wrong. So, pull slide back THEN switch modes?

yes. Pull slide back before switching fire mode. I had a ksc g18c, I never should have sold it

Thats just how its designed.

Also the G18c is infamous for the selector walking its way out of FA/semi, so don't be alarmed.
