Just so you know, the long mags suck. They leak like crazy and have been known to burst at the seam (a very unpleasant experience, to say the least).

When I had my GBB MP5K's, I converted all of my long mags to short.
Just pop the pins out, pull off the extension, take the "over fill" tube off the base, cut about 40% off the spring, and mount the mag base to the mag top and reinstall 2 of the pins.

I was able to get a bunch of long mags off various sites in their Boneyard sections (due to leaks) pretty cheap. I think the most I paid for a mag was $12. Every long boneyard mag I converted stopped leaking immediately.
Well, you can start a new topic and get flamed for not searching, or you can search and get flamed for necro-posting. It's really your choice...

The short mags leak all over as well. I've heard the best fix is getting the Maruzen mags, but at $50 a pop, hard to justify it...
