Ive has good results with KWA pistols......the NS2 system is good. If that particular style of gun is what you like, go for it.

for pistols, you cant go wrong with a KP8 or KP45. First, they are KWA, and KWA=awesome. secondly, you dont have to go spend a bunch of money on a high end holster that will keep your mags from falling out since its not a button on the side but a little lever under the trigger guard. Plus the mags arent too spendy compared to some. Lastly, the KP46 (match?) is only like $10 more and has a rail underneath for mounting lights and lasers. If i didnt already own a kwa m9 with 3 mags and the serpa holster, i would definetly buy the kp45 or kp8. (in case you didnt know a kp8 is pretty much just a smaller version of the kp45)

Any KWA pistol is worth it's cost, if you want a pistol. They are amazing. Just get the style you want, it will work good.

Again, if you like the USP, that's the one to get, if not don't get that one. Bottom line, KWA pistols are worth it, and if you are going to get a KWA pistol, do it soon, you can get a free mag. The only downside of KWA mags is that they are a little pricey but its because they last and are really high quality, so if you get one, do it soon, and get it from AONW.

I have always wanted the KP45 but I eventually decided to go with the KWA Mark II 1911. All I can say is WOW. KWA guns are godly, I would imagine that the KP45 is no different. You probably wouldn't be interested in the USP if you hated the design so I would say go for it.

I had both USP45 & Compact, both sold them both. Good looking guns but I don't really like the long trigger pull.

Agreed.

Kwa makes amazing products. So don't worry about em breaking (knock on wood)
Besides, you got 45 day warranty on it. =D

Airsoft GI was selling it for $80 a few days ago. I personally liked it after shooting a few rounds - borrowed it from a friend. Very solid and no magazine leak. KWA is a good brand, you get KWA tech support if your gun breaks from what I read.

Meh I've shot a Kp45 (kwa) not very accurate at any distance you will need aftermarket hopup (if they make them ) Tight bore. If you buy a Kp45 buy the compact version the standard and other's are bulky and heavy... Again if you like the style and feel of one buy it if not try some other replicas then deside.

Don't know about the accuracy statement above. I can get consistent hits at 75 feet with my KP45. The hop was inconsistent at first, but settled down after a few hundred BB's. I also have a KSC USP Compact, and though not as accurate at range as the KP45, it is lighter and has a sharper blow back.

The biggest issue with the KP45 is finding a holster that truly fits. Tried a couple, and the best option I've found is a Blade Tech leg holster. A KP45, Blade Tech holster, and spare mag should run you around $300 - $325.

Recently I got a KWA 1911 Mk4. It shoots nice, but I think I like the USP's better. And the Mk4 doesn't completely lock into my Serpa (trigger guard seems slightly long).

I've got a couple of Socom Gear MEU 1911's, upgraded with Airsoft Surgeon internals. They shoot well with the upgrades, but you will have to get extra mags to get some that don't leak.

could just be that the hop up on the one i shot was bad or new dunno i shot it at 20ft it was six inches low and four inches low at 10ft the groups were great ... could also be it was a little older model (non ns2) i like my 1911 clone better at 20ft was getting 1/2 inch from bullseye every time (note i used .20g bb's with both guns)

i have worked on 3 kwa kp45s. There really good guns, Only thing i didnt like was that with minimum ammount of dust on them, they get really stickey.. My kwa m9ptp doesnt do this as easly as the kp45s

But if you happen to drop it in some dust, or loose dirt, ur pistol is pretty much usless untill you can clean the dirt out of the slide.

Other then that there pretty accurate and have pretty good range for a pistol

the trigger pull is kinda weird too.. its defanatly not a hair trigger, And its kinda hard to rap it off fast enough, that it sounds like full auto..
..like you can do with the Kwa m9 ptp..

The way I see it, you never really need to use your sidearm, so performance is always secondary to personal preference. If you like the look, get the gun. But you wont fight with it that often.

That said, I've seen this gun up close, fired it, and it's quite nice, not a bad gun. It seems to perform on a par with almost every stock GBB pistol I've ever shot. I'd say it was "worth it".
