1. How many mags do you carry for your side arms?

2. How many mags do army rangers carry for their sidearms?

3. How many mags do army special forces carry for their sidearms?

4. How many mags do marsoc guys carry for their sidearms?

If you're asking for what's practical in airsoft, two magazines is generally enough for most people. It's called a sidearm for a reason, it's not the thing you're supposed to be doing the most shooting with. That said, last game I carried 11 magazines total for pistols (with 4 pistols), but that's because I love them.

1: For outdoors? 1. And it is loaded into the pistol. Indoors? 3. One in the weapon and two more on the leg holster.

2. Last number I heard was 3 mags. ! in weapon and two spares. Not sure if this is still / was ever doctrinally correct.

i carry two. one in the gu and one extra. im really not shure why you would wast your money on side arm mags. if you ran out of your main, you need more mags for your main. i run 13 mags on main so my side rarely see's action.

I carry two pistols and a main, one pistol is a revolver, so I get six shots then I'm SOL, and I got a 1911 with 2 hi-capas, and 60 rounds is more than enough. If your needing to be shooting more than that, you bleeding suck.

I carry the one in the gun, but thats because I can't afford extras.
I have actually seen pictures of Force Recon guys carrying 7 silver single stack magazines for their MEUsoc 1911's

Pretty much what Nocte said. One in the gun two on the vest. It's all a preference thing really. But at least 2-3 mags is enough to save your skin on the field.

I used to carry 5 mags. 4 in pouches on top of my chest, one in the pistol.

You will rarely use your pistol. Stick with 1 in the well, and 2 in the pouches. I would bet you will never use more than that. Save your vest real estate for more essential items.

Outdoors 2-4 mags depending on game type. CQC I carry 4 but I usually go with std mags for my primary.

I have 2, rarely ever carry it though unless there is a CQC area on the field. Then if I run out, I borrow mags from Pulsipher
