Title says it all. Changed my mind after results of the last GBB topic.

WE 1911. Easy day.
The King Of al-Talk. Hey, at least I'm not a troll.

My dog wouldn't know what to do with a duck if she caught it, but she's cute. And hates Mexicans. +1!

+1. Whenever I think 1911, WE screams at me with a bright neon sign. I'm actually getting the 7 inch 1911 thing they have myself this week. They make good stuff, I'd recommend them.

Thats the most "original" 1911 I could find for them, but if you browse their stuff like on Evike they have a shit ton of 1911 models, some of the more creative ones I prefer over the vanilla one.

I would have to say any of the KWA Mark series. I have a Mark IV myself. Solid, solid, and solid again.

+1, my crew (Salem) has 2 , a MKII and IV, we are loving them. both are shooting 320-330 fps. They have the new NS2 gas system. When laid along side of my real 1911, they measure up real close too.

I like my KSC M945. A Smith and Wesson(I believe) replica of their version of the 1911. Not only that, but it's chrome.... perfect for Gangland games. Which by the way.... Alex? :o

Go KSC/KWA or TM if you actually want something that isn't built looser than a hooker's squish mitten. WEs are inexpensive and they work, but that's about it. I own a WE 1911 that I haven't used in a good while simply because even my KSC Glock 26 outperforms it. KSC and TM make better guns.

That said, in the choice between KSC and TM, right now I'd go with the new Mark series made by KSC, mainly because Outlet carries them. If you're planning on buying overseas anyway, both companies are great. Note that the KSC is better out of the box, but the TM allows for far more customization later on.

Yes, WE will be the best out of the box.
You can find many of them within $130 range with full metal, and an additional magazine is only around $30ish.
They are pretty much direct Tokyo Marui's clones, only with metal slide & lower.
I don't know about the KSC/KWA 1911 series, but their Glock series are very good.

He's right, my 1911 got a little loose after a while, but it still functions.

Go to "Pistols", then click on "KSC". They have a large selection of G-series GBBs.

Glocks are kind of tough to get stateside due to trade infringement issues with Glock. If you check at many of the Asian places, uncompany, ehobbyasia etc you can frequently find them. Note that the Japan versions do not have metal slides due to their firearms laws. Get the metal slide or Taiwan versions. I have both Glocks and 1911's. In the end I like the Glocks from a strictly utility standpoint. ( Large ammo capacity). From a cool factor the KWA 1911 PTP MK series is hard to beat. Both are very reliable.
