Is buying used the only way to get KWA Glock models?

You can try to get them shipped here from overseas. UNCompany is your best bet, but they are out of stock a lot.

there are some to be found new domestically. you have to look for them though.

KWA=KSC with the addition that the KSC had trade marks from Asia and the safety lever in the trigger which KWA does not. I recently bought 3x KSC from UNco (listed above), they cover the trades with a rubbery stuff ( easy to remove) that way they avoid the Glock trade mark infringement issue in the US. Glock is very territorial with their name and likeness. Make sure you get the Taiwan version , the Japanese versions have plastic slides to meet their laws. I own KWA and KSC, both are identical except for the above listed differences.

I got a KSC G17 through EHobbyAsia about a month ago. Shipping was surprisingly fast (though blasted expensive, but worth it to get the product).

Exactly......if you look closely, you can see the black rubbery stuff covering the trades.
