Gas Blowback KWA m9

Postby Neo Elve » Thu Jul 29, 2010 6:37 pm

I'm looking for a Gas Blowback pistol and I came across the KWA M9 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=3910

So, I was wondering what you guys think of the KWA M9, is it a good buy?

Also I was thinking of getting a G-17 but I decided to ask about this one first.

So AP, what do you think?

The KWA glock 17 doesn't shoot full auto, the glock 18 does. And because Glock doesn't like airsoft replicas of their guns, its almost impossible to get one.

Anything with KWA new is pretty much guaranteed to be good. I've heard great things about the M9 PTP, and my KWA 1911A1 is awesome.

Get the KWA M9. It's an awesome gun and really comfortable to hold (for an M9). The only problem it has is the baseplate of the magazine likes to break off if you smack the magazine too hard into the gun.

I'd get the KJW over the KWA personally. My KJW is 2 years old and shows no signs of dieing. Plus its cheaper so you can get more spare mags, and it works with TM mags. The only thing the KWA PTP has over the KJW is the working decocker.

Ask Jester316 how much he loves KWA PTP weapons ;)

Go the KJW route. I'm actually contemplating picking one up.

My KWA M9 has given me nothing but trouble... Decocker stopped working, trigger would only half reset (don't ask..) and the piston eventually cracked leading to HORRABLE gas efficiency; although it was very gas efficient when it worked...

Ironically it just arrived at KWA's repair center yesterday... They seemed to be pretty helpful when it came to sending it in for repairs even though my warranty was expired (but I'm pretty sure it is going to get expensive quite quickly :( )

I would go with the KJW, their 1911s are unbreakable- so I'm sure their M9 shouldn't be any different.
