KWA TO PRODUCE GBB VERSION OF KRISS VECTOR SMG

City of Industry, CA – July 29, 2010 - KWA is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with KRISS Systems SA, designer and manufacturer of the KRISS Vector submachine gun. KRISS Systems SA, a Swiss global industry leader in firearm innovation, holds the patent for the unique Super V System found in the KRISS Vector.

Unlike conventional firearm designs, the KRISS Super V System redirects recoil forces to aid the user, rather than work against the user. Even with the powerful recoil of the .45 ACP round, the Vector "reduces felt recoil by as much as 70% and muzzle climb by as much as 95%!" This breakthrough design has been featured in popular television programs such as Future Weapons and Ultimate Weapons. It has also received numerous accolades from the staff writers of Guns and Weapons for Law Enforcement and Popular Science for revolutionizing firearms engineering. The KRISS Vector SMG is currently under evaluation by various special operations units worldwide to become a referenced weapon for Close Quarter Battle and Urban Warfare. With such advanced technology, an airsoft version is the natural step.

KWA has been granted an exclusive, worldwide license to design and produce GBB (Gas Blow Back) versions of the KRISS Vector, never before done within the airsoft industry. The first prototype of the Vector GBB will be unveiled at the 2011 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new airsoft gun will be 1:1 in dimensions and powered by KWA's advanced gas system technology; providing consistent and reliable operation KWA products are known for. Pricing and release dates will be announced in the future.

"Designing the GBB airsoft KRISS Vector SMG is a unique challenge that requires both innovative out-of-the-box thinking and strong Research and Development capabilities. Powered by precision engineering, high performing products and a passion to outperform, we entrusted KWA as the sole manufacturer of all our current and upcoming KRISS GBB airsoft products" said Christophe Guignard, Director of Marketing of KRISS Systems SA.

With unparalleled customer and warranty service, KWA strives to ensure that all of its products are of the highest quality and its customers are properly cared for. The introduction of the 2GX AEG (Airsoft Electric Gun) gearbox and the NS2 GBB system has set a new standard in airsoft technology.

I wonder what the price will be. Sounds like a perfect candidate for my first GBB.

KWA doesn't really get my jollies off. As for the KRISS, I think its the ugliest thing in the world, plus the RS one has too many parts.

I'll stick with an UMP if I need some FA .45 surgery ;)

I'm thinking it will be pretty cool. GBB SMG's are pretty awesome.

I think it might be kinda cool, I mean if they do it right. The actual super v fires using .45 glock mags, and if my research is up to date kriss hasn't even produced a hicap specifically for the super v yet. I would love to see them make it so that it corectly uses glock gas mags. It would also be fairly amazing to see them make an AEG or an EBB and if they made an AEG they could just use the TM glock NBB mags.

Also, for fast action .45 i prefer a thompson. but of course my favorite RS SMG in general for full contact durability and usefulness is the Sten

My guy at KWA said there was some "cool" news about a partnership project about a week ago. He wouldn't tell me what it was. I was hoping they got Trademark rights with Knight's Armament or were making a Stoner Mk63 or a Stoner LMG. Sad Day...

kriss is ugly but I like it even if my teamates don't. I fear it is going to be too expensive for my taste however.

Thank God! I love you bro.

Seriously, this is the ugliest gun I've ever seen. Plus, most people only started saying "OMG there should be a GBB KRISS Vector!!!" after MW2 came out, so I already have disdain for the thing.

I loved the UMP-45 until MW2 (I mean CoD6 not Mech Warrior 2). But that game has made me hate it. I love the KRISS, but I won't buy a GBB version of it. I like my guns to be cool and not from a video game. By which I mean I've bought the gun before it was in a CoD game. Like me and my G3.

Lets hope the GBB version doesn't have the recoil reduction system on the RS kriss.

The kwa mp7 was expensive so I think this will be no different.

If only those pesky video game creators would stay away from all the new weapons coming out ;)

But seriously, I would love a GBB SMG, however I would like one that doesn't look nearly as bad like the MP7, which I would get if I had $255 to throw around. I'm sure it will sell out quickly though and that will be enough of a reason for people to get it.
