WE 1911 mag question

Im trying to pull the base plate from one of my MEU1911 mags and that doesnt work and put it on one that does. I remove the two pins at the base but still can't seem to get eather to come off. I don't need people to post with try this or try that, just someone who knows the answer.

Use a punch or pin and hammer to take out the two pins at the base of the mag. Next step is to unscrew the fill valve using a small flathead screwdriver. The next step is a little tricky, Put the mag in a vise or c-clamp it to something secure. While holding the bottom mag plate with a pair of pliers, use a narrow screwdriver inside the fill valve hole, levering it back and forth to slowly remove the magazine base plate Its held on very securely by an O-ring, you want to be firm but gentle, you don’t want to strip the threads on the fill valve opening. To assemble, do the reverse. Hope this helps!
