Marushin makes good stuff, but I don't think their m1 is very skirmishable.

Their M1 is a very well built replica. I wouldn't take it to a skirm though. Period re-enacting maybe.

Back when I was looking around at WWII airsoft, it seemed like the M2 Carbine was more usable. I don't have personal experience with it, though.

Are you looking to do re-enacting, or are you just looking for a sweetass WW2 era gun?

i want to be able to skirmish lightly with it. i like the M1 and M2, i dont shoot ALOT at airsoft matches, im more of a distance and ambush person.

I went to a skrim and saw someone skrim with the M2 carbine, and he didn't have any problems using it.

I saw someone using that as well, no problems and it was definitely a pretty sick weapon.

The m1 carbine is a very nice and cool looking airsoft gun. It is made of wood and metal. A person I know was going too get it. But he found out it wasn't a good gun too skirm with. So get it if you are a WWII collector but not if you wanta skirm with it. It's like a 300-400 dollar airsoftgun and with that money you could buy a very nice well made kwa.

I don't know too much about the Marushin M1s, but a guy at a skirmish today had one and didn't seem to have any problems fielding it, even with 1 clip (not magazine ;) )

Oh, and he nailed me in the forehead from 50ft away, 8mm bbs hurt like a phony pony.

The M1 Garand isn't the same as the M1 carbine, but hey, thanks for playing.

I've heard of people using the M1 carbines at games, but the problem is the lack of parts and the mags aren't cheap.

Have you considered converting an M14?

It could be a fun, sorta costly project, but it will super cool.
