How? The orange thing seems to be glued on... No? It is plastic on plastic so... can I still put the thing in boiling water?

It may just a piece of the barrrel. IDK, i havent held on yet, but some GBB extend the barrel the half inch out and paint it orange.

Take the slide off, remove the barrel and return spring assembly. Mask off the blow back chamber. Spray paint the tip black. Let dry, reassemble, drink beer.

?????? I removed at least 5 GBB orange tip in the past with modeling thinner & cotton balls.
They only spray a thin layer of orange nail color (maybe another thin layer of white paint underneath).
