how big are your hands? If you've never held a DE before, they have shockingly big grips. Just something to keep in mind.

good gun tho, you can ever get full metal body kits for them if you want

You should have put this in the pistol/gbb section. Any TM is good but they will be made out of plastic which turns me off. I like having at minimum a metal slide. For the "color" part I think black would look best for a plastic gun since "chrome" made out of plastic is weird. If it was metal than silver all the way or even gold with black grip is sexy if you are going for aesthetics. I have been looking at pistols for a while before buying and ended up changing my mind all together. I suggest you take your sweet time.

Yeah, I got bummed when I found it was mainly plastic, but it is the best of the deagles. Luckly you can buy metal frame and slide so that problem goes away. Its just 170 dollars. The price of the gun.

The Chrome version (which I own) has made many players think it was metal. It's very well done with barely any seams. Good detail and decent trades. IT IS NOT WEIRD. It has a great weight and heft to it and is fairly well balanced with a magazine inside. It is a fantastic gun and kicks almost like a .22 on green gas. Consistent 330 FPS on Green/Propane and 280 on Duster.

The ZEKE kit for the TM Desert Eagle also may require a bit of work to make it all fit properly. There are some players on Arnies who have done the mod with more information.

My main con against the gun is the weight and size, obviously. I used to carry it on a Pistol Belt, then on my vest. It began to drag me down, but it's worth proved itself to me in the field of battle. The best holster is a vertical shoulder holster, that is if you're big enough to wear one properly. You can't afford to go cheap for this gun. Be weary of weather. It uses gas like a BEAST. These two things combined cause great cool down and may crack the o-rings or exit valve, especially if not lubed regularly. (I don't really take care of my guns... so I have 4 DE mags laying around as paperweights... Paperweights that cost $45 each which I should get on to fixing)

I have owned this gun for 4 years and used it regularly since I got it. Regarding the gun itself and not the magazines, without regular maintenance and though being beaten to hell and back (I treat it like my AK. Down cliffs and on concrete), the safety no longer works and that may be because of my gradual use of Propane.

ok, I use propane so if I use it the safety may stop working? Also what does this ZEKE it do? Also where could I find one?

What I meant by that it broke is not just the act that it broke, but that moving parts of the gun will wear down but will still last. It depends on how often you shoot and how you treat it. The ZEKE kit is the Aluminum CNC'd body kit. It is incredibly expensive, would it really be worth it to you? I recommend you just find a Chrome version.

Oh yeah the body kit, I was looking at the chrome ones, there about 200 dollars. Very expensive but I was wondering is it worth it?

Be damn sure that you want a metal Desert Eagle if you're going to pay for the kit. If you want to spend the money, yeah, they're really cool, but keep in mind that you'll be spending around 500 dollars in total. I've put more than that into my WA SVI and will continue to do so, but you've got to love the platform if you are spending that much.

Yeah, so It's mainly for a person who's really into the deagle?
