1911 leaking mag

1911 leaking mag

Ok Ive searched and searched but with no luck, i have a 1911 and both mags leak from the top is there a way to fix it or am i better off buying a new one? also sorry if there is a thread already for this if you know of the link please let me know. thanks for any help

Its just o-ring shrinkage.

You probably dont store the mags with a little gas in them.

You can open them up and soak the rings in hot water to regain a bit of there shape. dry well and lube with silicon greese.

ya the mags were stored with gas in them but that was probly 2 years ago but ill have to give that a try thanks
