Metal Replacement outer barrel for KWA NS2 USP

Postby Vegeta » Fri Mar 12, 2010 1:13 am

I've had my KWA for awhile now and every time I pick it up I cant help but feel disappointed about the "fake" threading at the end of the outer barrel cause I really wanna put a suppressor on it but I cant. so anyway I've been checking google Redwolf and AGI for a metal replacement with no luck so does any of you guys know where to find one?

what do you mean fake threading? is it plastic? or does it not fit any suppressors/flash hiders?

The old Mk 23 had 16 mm clockwise threads that meant you had to get a specific suppressor. On the other hand it meant that you wouldn't mix that one and another one up.

The KP45 Tactical will fit a suppressor. The threading is 16mm Clockwise as Big Red mentioned. You'll need to find the silencer that fits the old KSC MK23.

Find it and install it. No new barrel needed.

well when I bought I was talking to Jesse at AONW and he said that its not a standard 16mm thread and that the plastic outer barrel would probably break if I did find a suppressor to attach to the barrel thats why I'm looking for a metal replacement

you may have misunderstood him. to the best of my knowledge, the KWA NS2 USP tactical (the one with the threaded barrel) has a metal outer barrel with the 16mm threading.

Yes. The KWA KP45 Tactical has a metal slide, but a plastic barrel.

Yes, Jesse said that the barrel is not 'standard'. Standard is +/-14mm. This barrel is 16mm.

Look for one that fits the KSC USP System 7, and it will fit the KWA.
