This is relevant to my interests. I may request to fingerbang it if you do indeed get one.

@#$&^%&^ for 550 you can have it!
GHK sells a drop in kit for around 250 shipped - http://www.ebairsoft.com/steel-made-ak7 ... -2488.html and you use gas mags, so no need for a hose :D

Their site seems to be outdated, no products appear to be available.

External gas rigs are the way of the stone age airsofter. The AEG was designed to replace that setup. Have fun with it all the same.

Isn't having an external gas setup just making airsoft one step closer to paintball..?

That too. There is very little point to it. Unless you have a gas tank in your stock like the Maruzen 870s.

I had always wanted one of Madbull's Gas Gearboxes for an M16. I had planned on making some sort of tank to fit in the stock. Sadly that idea never came to fruition. I would have enjoyed that quite a bit.

For this, I highly suggest figuring out a way to get a tank put in your stock, should you decide to go with a full stock AK.

Just sayin' what I'd do, and I'm sure we all know by now that whatever I say is usually the best idea ;)

A GBBR RPK would be pretty cool if someone could figure out how to get this system to work with a tank in the stock. You might have to go with one of those small paintball tanks that hold like 8oz of CO2.

Just run the hose along the sling and carry the bottle in a TT Joey pouch. I'm sure this would make a better noise than an AEG which is part of the fun ;)
