Every gun will break eventually under use. And all GBBs are a phony pony to fix if you don't know what your doing.

I was implying that WEs break more frequently than most and are more of a phony pony to fix.

They've still been reported to have 450+ FPS on other websites. The point is, don't buy it if you plan on using it at game.

Well that's why we don't use CO2, is it not?

I've seen a WELL MP5K just up and die on its third magazine, and I've seen HFC's M11 do a decent job until the magazine broke (just a simple valve problem). Both will do the job you want them to, but just keep in mind you're buying guns that fire a LOT and do so quickly. You will put a lot of rounds through them, be forewarned it won't last as many games as a good (or even halfway decent) AEG, because you will be inclined to hose with these.
My opinion(s):
Stay away from airsoftmegastore.
Get a regular pistol (1911, M9) for CQB. That way you can always use it as a secondary should you use it in conjunction with a rifle.

Stay away from airsoft megastore. I used to order off there with confidence until they sucked out ALL my friends money into some DBOYS RDW with a bunch of "upgrades" and wastefully extravagant optical gear. He ended up getting a STOCK RDW with no magazine, battery, charger, or front end. So yeah. He followed up and it ended up that he "ordered a nonexistent item" or some other lame excuse.

Nobody here suggested an AEG.

Then fragile SMG's are probably the wrong direction here. A backup weapon for a sniper rifle should provide silent, consistently accurate fire when the marksman encounters targets to close to use his main rifle. Save some extra green and get a KWA 1911 or something that can be holstered and fired silently and accurately.

Just my $0.02
