It's a very decent gun, I used to have one.
You don't need the one with longer barrel/silencer, but would be nice to buy a 2nd mag for it.

Have one, it's OK. Mags are leak prone. Look into a KWA NS2 1911. Mags are more solid and the blow back is better. My KWA KP45 Tactical is better in every way. The suppressor is useless with the WE, but goes nicely on an MP7. And the foam in the case is weak. After a few months, mine always ends up sliding to the bottom of the case after a few days when stored vertically.

Check out the ASGI assassin. It's got the longer inner barrel to make the gun actually useful.

Go for a TM Hicapa, either the 5.1 or the 4.3. They're way better than the clone pistols, plus their a double stack so the mags hold a crap load of gas.

AND if you ever break anything, you can get literally everything for these pistols made by an aftermarket company.

Good luck with your choices.

I rock propane (Green gas) in my TM DE everywhere I go. You can get a metal slide for the Hicapas.

It will be fine, but make sure to lube it every 10 mags or so.

The metal slide will be extra $100 plus (some comes with metal barrel and recoil spring guide).
If tight on budget, the Socom gear MEU is good enough.

Just a tip, buy it from Airsoft Outlet. If you're in the Portland area, you won't need to pay shipping and it'll be helping a local business that frankly has better service than any other company I've bought from. Also, you won't need the extended barrel; WE's are built so loosely the extra length of the barrel will be offset by the fact that it doesn't lock up tight. Don't get me wrong, they work, they're just inaccurate.
