TSD SD700 Installing tips

Hey guys, I just got this TSD SD700 and I am installing the barrel and receiver into the stock, but I can't seem to get the last screw in. It came with two screws and I put one through the rail into the outer barrel which works fine, and it looks like the second should go in behind the mag well. unfortunatly the screw isnt long enough and I can't get it to go in. Is there supposed to be a screw in this spot? Or does it not matter?

I already got a screw through the rail.
The hole i am refering to is right behind the mag well

one screw is shoter then the other.

the short screw goes in the front hole and the long one goes in the rear hole.

if you put the wrong screw in the wrong hole and over torque it it will crush or crimp your cylinder. be careful.

take both screws out, reassess and try again.

Ok I took them out and they are both the same length. Are there any other possible solutions you can think of? Or should I buy a longer screw for it?

So when I put the screw in and look at it from the inside, the screw doesnt actually reach the end of the plastic surrounding it. So theres no way it could reach the barrel. Is it possible that they gave me the wrong screw?

can't you just go to a local hardware store and buy another screw of the same thread but just a longer one that you need?

I ended up stripping out one of the screws in my TSD M700, so I went to Home Depot and got a 10-32 tap and screws and retapped all the screws. They are much stronger and solid, and hold much better. I suggest doing this if you plan on using this for a long time.

Yeah I ended up just getting a new one from Ace Hardware
