The on-site chrono was reading higher on my gun than expected. Quite a bit higher. That means i wasted my time making the trip out there. Don't really have the words for how disappointed i am to miss out on this.

Ah, the fun of being poor and having no back-up gun.

i expect awesome stories from the battlefield posted up!
(...and hopefully some cool pics/vid)

Real Sword guns tend to chrono 420ish right out of the box. After a while the spring breaks in and it'll be usable at normal games. Go put 500-1000 rounds thru it for some target practice or something, it'll help.

I'm also excited to hear how the game went, as I had to miss it as well.

I managed to leave after the first round. Why? Tomorrow I fly to Disneyland at 4 AM.

Overall the first round was very fun, ya, shitty idea for respawns in my opinion because it wasn't just any 5man respawn, you had to have 5 people from your team in order to jump back in, causing people to sit around for 15-25 minutes, which was total bull.

Otherwise Matt did a great job with pretty much everything, it was well organized and thought out. I especially liked the SF idea, very cool. SOTA and Chad were running in fire with each other and everyone was getting pissed off because apparently we were Friendlies. Twas quite funny though.

Texmex and Strider did a great job with navigation and communication. It was thorough and they made it feel like a real Mil-Sim, unlike some big op's.

I feel bad for everyone who couldn't come and those who signed up yet flaked. We had about 1/2 the people as expected but the field size was perfect for it.

Thanks Matt I hope to come out soon and play again at one of your fabulous events.

P.S. I <3 Raffles.

Had to leave early but the game was a total blast.

Comms could have been better, but that always turns out to be an issue.

This needs to be done again, IMO, 2010 is turning out to be a good year for airsoft so far.

You're right, picked up the RS just this last week.

Yeah, 420ish alright. Like 430 even after i put several thousand rounds through & stored her with the spring compressed. A lot of good it did me.

...i just don't want to be pegged as one of those flakey folks Octose mentioned that signed up then pulled a no-show. i didn all the prep, drove the miles, bought ammo, & waited in line just to be sent home with my tail between my legs.

But, this isn't about me, this is about hearing some war stories. :D

well, The game was fun. Met some great people. Fun sleeping in my car all night and nothing to eat but soda, ButterFingers and a Choco muffin.

Night game was awesome. I love night games and it was great to finally have one where no one was bitchy over it.

I'm moving to cali now so this was a great last event.

I took a couple hundred images of the event when I got tired and my battery died. I will be posting the good ones on photobucket (as in right now) and repost with a link when its done uploading.

My gun supposedly shoots 330 out of the box and the chrono got it a 380 ish I felt like it might have been off, but who knows.
