hey ap. i found this video on youtube the other day and i found it to be quite outrageous. a group called "mothers against guns" in the uk claims that airsoft replicas can be converted to fire live ammunition. a lot of the rationale is already being covered in the video comments, so i will keep my opinion short. my take on this is that i highly doubt that kids, shown to be half my age in the video, are capable of engineering and crafting a stable firing gun that will not blow up in their own little hands. i believe that mothers against guns has valid intentions, but the video they produced is giving exagerrated reasons for why guns and replicas should be removed from the uk.

Yeah its old, but it still shocks me on how stupid it is.
That kid would have to be real messed up to not want to pull the trigger after she killed the first kid or shot the first shot.
She would also have to know how to make a gun from scratch to be able to make an airsoft pistol into a real firearm. The cost would be huge for a kid that young and the time needed even more so.

In short she would have to be a genius, cold blooded killer with access to the proper resources to do that.

Nice try mom I'm still going to play and support airsoft.

In any case, most political activism groups rarely let the facts get in the way of things. The commercials are meant to pull people, support, and money to their cause, not educate the ignorant public.

I read and I know that this is an old topic, but I want to say what I want to say. This is a load of crap! First of all like what I've read these kids do look like 9 or so. Heck their around/close to my sister's age and I know for a fact she doesn't have a clue about weapons being real steel or not. I'm not trying to be mean to my sister, but it's a cold hard fact. Most kids that age don't really know much and even if they were smart how did they get the guns in the first place, and why did they react so coldly when killing someone? I mean wouldn't they go into shock? Anyways mothers who do this are the ones who only want control and their way. It's the same with everything and it's old and annoying. Why can't they just keep the idiotic parents from leaving their guns laying around or leaving them with these guns unsupervised? Plus if airsoft becomes banned in the UK. I bet sales in Airsoft would rise and it would find it's way in the Country. That's what the Black Market is for. Anyways I'll stop my ranting.
