If you're looking for a cheap full face mask, I recommend Hobbytron. They sell a full face rubber/punched aluminum goggles mask for $13 (about $17 with shipping.) You can detach the goggles for the mask and wear a balaclava instead if you prefer that, and the goggles are of course no fog. Just make sure you get the small one, since the larger one uses mesh instead of punched aluminum and I'm not sure about how strong it is.

Airsoft can be as safe or as dangerous as you want it to be. Eyes-goggles, skin-clothing, crotch-cup, teeth-mouthpiece, etc. Heck, for real safety, buy some trauma plate armor, just in case!

You also have another message from me in your intro post relating to this subject.

If you are still having problems with your parents your best bet is to bring one to a game. Im not sure if somebody has said this already because I know you have started 4 threads all geared towards this topic. Bring your dad out put a gun in his hand and let him feel it first hand, It might work out better then you think, he might start coming to games and you will have a ride. If your parents aren’t ok with it then you just cant do it. Wait until they are more comfortable with it, don’t nag them but let them know that you are still interested in the hobby. Lastly if your parents say no: DO NOT GO TO WALMART AND BUY A CHEAP GUN AND START PLAYING IN THE FOREST BEHIND YOUR HOUSE, SCHOOL, CHURCH, FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD ABORTION CLINIC. If the cops don’t kill you, somebody with a CCL will. Guess what you will deserve it. Airsoft can be light hearted and fancy free but we never fail to maintain a constant eye on safety and legality. Airsoft is not as physically dangerous as say wrestling, however if you do not treat it with respect and it will shazaam you in the a$$.

Airsoft is dangerous. Just because you can protect yourself doesn’t take away the danger. Here is a good way to judge danger. Find a target activity, buy all the gear that is needed, go do the activity then get rid of the gear and do it again. If you are unable to finish do to death or injury, OR are to scared to participate in the activity with out the gear it is dangerous. I would not play with out glasses, that makes it dangerous. We don’t need to lie to get people to join our sport.

Provided that you are wearing proper safety equipment, the danger level is on par with riding in the same car as an Asian woman driver.

It's bleeding true. I was taught to drive by my mom, and look at me now. I'm bleeding bad driver, and zane knows that very well.

I have ridden in many rides with scary old aunties, and it really is the same as a 12 year old playing airsoft on the street infront of a SWAT team!

At least you're cautious. Most Asian drivers just don't pay attention to what's happening. You just think about it too much.

Chipped tooth? Anyone ever had firsthand experience with this? I was under the understanding (From some TV im sure...) that the human tooth was stronger than a concrete cinder block, and I don't see airsoft BB's chippping them too often, especially with a 400fps limit?

But if that's true... damn, mouthgaurds? lol

As for safety glasses, If I ever made it to an event, I have about 30 z.871.1 ANSI standard shades of different style that I could give out for anyone that forgot/lost theirs/

B.T. From DRAT has a chipped tooth from a SUPER NINE. Just ask anyone on DRAT for the story.
