Yeah good point, except I hate playing Counter-Strike because for one, i don't have a computer that can run it, and for two it is dumb online because everyone uses Magnums and everyone that plays is really good. They need a ranking system on that game. Unless there is a new one because I am talking about the Counter-Strike on X-Box and PC.

Maybe there's a reason your parents dont' want you playing airsoft - Like they belive you lack the maturity to use your replicas responsibly. You've already proven that to us.

Here's the deal - and I'll explain it as it pertains directly to you, becase I know it can be hard to think of the greater good.

You go out in public with an airsoft gun - someone see you and freaks out - "there's a Kid with a gun out here!" - that call gets you, for example, 2 squad cars, 4 officers, all ready to deal with a kid with a gun - you see them coming and think "Oh shit! someone called the cops" - you can stay put and deal with it, or ans your first post would imply, try to get out of it. What's teh easy way to get out of it? Run away. Great - you ran - now the cops have a kid with a gun evading the police - which means he probably did something wrong - 1+1=kid did something wrong with the gun.

Now, they catch you, you make a movement they dont' like, 2 officers drop 3 rounds each into your sorry a$$. Hurrah - Your dead.

Do you want to be dead? There are easier ways that wont' affect the rest of us. (Synical as hell, I know - but your begging for it).

So, your parents, tough as is it on you, are just making sure your safe, which is there job.

DO NOT PLAY AIRSOFT GAMES ILLEGALLY

If that means you have to drive 5 hours to the closest match, TOO DAMN BAD!!! Your choice is drive 5 hours, or don't play.

Now, you already know I'm a bit nicer than some of these guys when it comes to no0bs - I've helped you in other threads - and take me VERY seriously when I tell you this stuff.

It can be EXTREMELY dangerous to play where you shouldn't - not even counting the effect you actions will have on the rest of us as a whole.

There is an old story from the early days of Airsoft Pacific I wanna tell you.

There were a group of players meeting at a players house - across the street, there is a Safeway (and said safeway has a bank) - someone decided that since there were people standing around in Camo (note, No replicas where being handled even), we must be planning to rob the bank.

The police response was swift and large. No one got hurt, but the players where put through a far bit of trouble before the officers were statisfied.

Let me say it again - DO NOT PLAY AIRSOFT GAMES ILLEGALLY


*Edit - I just wanted to add, I myself dont' have a lisence yet, so I don't Drive, but I still make it out to games as far away as Florence and Skapoose - not as regularly as I'd like, but I DO get there. Look around on some of the forums for the area and see about getting a ride with other players. If your Parents STILL won't let you play - Too bad. That's their right. Deal with it and find another hobby - or hold out until your 18.

Sorry to say dude, but that has got to be the absolute dumbest thing I have heard on these forums in the three years I have been on. Illegal stuf is illegal for a reason, generally because it involves your or someone elses wellbeing, in this instance, both. All I can say is that if you don't get shot, and get your face all over tv and newspapers, I think there is a pretty large group of people that wouldn't mind treating you to a blanket party. I wouldn't be one of them, but I think Alex, Riddick, Nightshade, Casca, and many others would be happy to oblige. We freak out when idiots in florida get busted, because bad news travels fast, there has been talk of legislation to ban airsoft in different states because of crap some people heard on cnn from another state. It really does effect everyone, all across the nation. That is actually one of the big reasons for this section of the forum, to chart anything bad in the news that could impact our hobby.
