Anyone get the broadcast on tape? If so do you have everything needed to put it on Youtube? It's a longshot but I missed it and wanna see it.

Funny you should say that, my real big brother is a cop in albany. He understands what airsoft is and what I do with them.

terror management wrote:these are the a$$ hats that will get airsoft banned.... not my group that shoots 10-20 percent hotter than a.p. regs

I don't see why people read this and feel the need to rip it apart just because Terror Management wrote it. He's saying that the group of guys that he plays with do not run around town shooting at people for fun. He's also saying that the guns they use that shoot over 400fps are not the guns that are going to get aisoft guns banned.

I know the moderators here must be getting tired of all the slamming of peoples posts here. I'm loosing alot of interest for this sport in general due to the attitudes displayed here. Why would anyone want to play with other people that can't handle someone else's opinions or observations if the things they say aren't quite what Airsoft Pacific wants to do?

It's not that he has a different opinion then people on AP. It's that every chance he gets. He takes a swipe at us. Terror cannot make a post without saying something negative about AP. That's my problem with him and his post.

I'm emailing this topic to my friend who plays in his backyard. I now have an even better reason not to play in his backyard, than the lame excuse of it's illegal, and it's right by a school, and all that stuff.... Thanks guys!!

If you were not a part of the AP(ST), would you feel like you were being attacked?

As far as Terror and everyones comments:

It's possible there may be some unresolved issues from the Cypriot Ridge event that have turned into something bigger, I wasn't really happy about that weekend either. Realizing that I was a witness to him being warned during the game, someone missed what was really going on and railed him for it. How long it takes for people to get over things varies per person, could be the case here. There was also a comment on another thread about thick skins and I agree with him about not being so touchy and wounded about what people say, it's a forum! I'm going to have to declare myself out of the loop as far as anything going on between Terror and AP because I don't understand (fully) why people here rail on him the way they do like some web-gangsta (check page 1 and on). I also don't read everything that is posted here at AP either, there may be more to this whole thing.

A general rule of thumb (in my book) is: Don't type things up here you would not say to the guys face. It's a respect/maturity thing. When people get in peoples faces on the boards here it's like running away from a fight and saying "I'm going to type something better next time, you better watch your back because I'm a Judo master with the keyboard". I don't see how people can honestly think they are gaining any respect by doing that, it just makes it worse when you see each other in person. I didn't grow up having the internet so I guess I missed out on web-fu classes early in life, makes people look like fools to me, heroes to others.

What ever happened to keeping it real? Must be some sort of sign of reaching old school status.

I am not with APST - and I think I am the one who went off on Terror on page one. I can tell you honestly - anything I say on here, I would say in person (and in person, I dont have the restraint that I do on here. On here, I have time to think before i hit 'Post' - in person, I dont take the time to read before I 'Post' or rather open my mouth and let the invective fly). For the record, I wasnt at Cypriot Ridge - I dont know what happened there - I do know that I am tired of him taking a swipe at the community every chance he gets (and as I am 'Grandpa-Airsoft', he's taking a swipe at something I've watched grow - something I've sought to destroy at times, and something I've loved at times. He's went and done poked the bear - and now the bear's poking back)

Niall's post had nothing to do with Teror, AP, or FPS limits. Terror decided to hijack the thread and make it about him.

Also about Op. CR I thought his problem was taken care of.

Fianlly, if you don't think I'll say the same thing in person. You don't know me at all.

OK kids, what have we learned?

1. Don't play with your airsoft guns inside of city limits.
2. Apparently not agreeing with a dissenting opinion makes you a fascist.
3. Don't say something on the forum that you would not say to someone in person.

This thread has officially exceeded my personal threshold for bullshit.
