G&P or Guarder goggles?

Postby sonshadowcat » Thu Apr 13, 2006 1:32 pm

*I wasn't sure if this thread should go here, since this is the safety part.

I did a search here and couldn't find any specific info on these goggles. I know arnies has a review for the guarder T800 but arnies has been disabled.

So my question is, is this

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_99&products_id=1273

that much better than this G&P one?

I know you get what you pay for, but the guarder one doesn't look like it would fit my glasses( which aren't that big to begin with). Is the quality and protection similar or is the guarder one much better( justifying the cost?).

Thanks for the info.

You linked to the G&P goggles twice.

I assume your comparing the T800s to the G&P unit?

I can tell you, unless you have small glasses, the T800s won't fit over them. I have the T800s and I have relativly small glasses and mine don't fit. :P

Although, the cool part about the T800s is they can fit the real Bolle RX inserts, thus removing the need for glasses under them.

The other thing I like about the T800s is that they're vented really well, so they don't fog as easily.

Also, Airsoft Extreme has them for 25 dollars, but after Gunnys trouble with them, the 10 dollars may not be worth it.
With all the pretty flowers and twigs in your ghillie.. perhaps you should take up gardening?

Sorry, fixed the link.

So I guess I should go with the G&P due to size constraints( hope those fit). Ok, thanks :).

I dislike contacts, glasses are so much easier to handle....But I DO have contacts so even if neither fits my glasses, I can just use contacts for the game.
