ANSI Z87.1 lenses

Postby Dr. Starch » Tue Mar 29, 2011 10:10 am

I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy ANSI z87.1 rated lenses for M44 goggles? I'd like to use them to play airsoft because they fit over my glasses well.

Knowing the results, for shiz and giggles today i shot a few BBs through the lenses that i got with my goggles. (probably should have found new lenses first.)

If i cannot find ANSI z87.1 lenses for them i'll go spend $5 for a new set of lenses and not use them for airsoft.

Im not sure where you would. I honestly would update and go with any of the current military approved for purchase goggles. They all will meet or exceed the requirements for airsoft. ESS, Oakley, and Revision are considered the best and ESS and Revision are not that expensive. All three brands also build sunglasses that have interchangeable lenses. If you ware glasses they even have prescription lens inserts. Most of these will provide more than enough protection for out door games. Again make SURE they are from the military section of their catalog.

I'll consider that. I have other pairs of goggles / safety glasses to go over my glasses. So getting a set of new ones isn't the highest priority atm. I just liked the style of those goggles. (and they were pretty cheap)
